We, my friends, are the proud new owners of a pop-up camper! We made a decision and picked up our new summer home last weekend. She’s a 2004 Starcraft 2409 with a slide out dinette, king and queen pop outs, a fridge, furnace, two burner stove, toilet, water heater, sink, indoor and outdoor shower, and some seriously 90s decor! This will allow us to live at the park again in Santa Fe, which is just what I always wanted!

Last weekend I spent the day cleaning and scrubbing every nook and cranny and today I am going to paint all the “wood” laminate a crisp off white to brighten it up. Next up, one Colleen Maki, PE and home ec teacher extraordinaire and general badass former Alaskan is going to help me sew new curtains for it. I’m thinking a nice chevron print, or quirky floral perhaps. I’m stoked!
